The RSO Supplemental Refresher (Optional) Computer Based Training is a refresher for those working in high hazard facilities. This course is designed to refresh the topics pertaining to personal safe work practices and responsibilities while performing tasks in the petrochemical industries. This course will use multimedia and interactive activities Along with knowledge checks to engage learners throughout the following 13 topics as established by the Division of Apprenticeship Standards (DAS) and are stated below:
*Personal Requirements for Refinery Entry *Respiratory Protection *Refinery Process Overview
*Working at Heights/Fall Protection *Process Safety Management & Hazard Communications*Confined Space Entry*Common Chemicals (Toxicology)
* Energy Isolation/Lockout *Hearing Protection*Personal Protective Equipment*Heat Stress Prevention *Safe Work Practices Safe Work Permitting
*Emergency Action Plans/Emergency Response
Participants will have 120 min to complete the 90-minute instruction portion of the course and will conclude with a 30-question final exam. A score of 80% or higher is required to successfully pass. Students will have up to 3 attempts to pass.
